An Opportunity to Re-Invent
The pandemic took us by surprise. The complete shutdown was
unprecedented. Hopes of an early reopening were quashed within a month. The
advent of a New Normal and its nature was still unclear. So was the longevity
of the crippling restrictions. How does one plan without access to any
necessary variable? How does one keep what one does for a living relevant in
absence of the need itself?
Well, with a firm belief in our abilities and intent, we saw
an opportunity to Re-Invent. We stepped back and refocused on our core values,
our people and the time relevant need of our customers. Above all, we as a team
managed to stay positive.
Our one on one employee engagement was taken to the next
level, with a daily review of the employees and their family’s health. Most of
our core quality related processes were taken back to the drawing board and
implemented with vigor across the network. Technology platforms were reviewed
and new and improved tools were implemented. Last but not the least, a well
thought out and timely program to help our customers in need because of the
pandemic was launched and implemented across the network which was widely
appreciated.
Now, nearing the end of the lockdown restrictions and
hopefully also the beginning of the new normal, our entire team is as motivated
as ever and rearing to go. We have added a wider variety of industry segments
as our customers who value our responsible behaviour in the times of crisis. Our
core processes are fine-tuned and we have a brand new field automation tool to
ensure customer delight.
Yes, it was tough! It might not be easy in the immediate
future as well! It was and it is an Opportunity to Re-Invent.
